The Series: Melody of Light

Unknowingly challenged by my neon professor Christian Schiess, I have begun a series called "Melody of Light" which couples vintage radio/music equipment with neon. At present, I have completed three pieces in this series. Pictured is a vintage Philco 84B cathedral tube radio backed by mirror with a whimsical neon filled tube mounted inside its chassis. Titled "84B and Me", I am beyond excited to work on the next pieces.

About me...

I work in the IT industry by day managing a team of software developers at Stanford University. I very much enjoy what I do. Technology changes as quickly as it gets boring so this career is suited perfectly for me.

If I were to answer the question, "What would you do if you won the lottery?" My answer is not something I waver on. I would make my art (and go on object finding missions) all day long.

I've changed careers. I moved from place to place. People have drifted in an out of my life. Art is my constant - like breathing really, but I don't really have the choice to not breathe! :)
